Adult Literacy

  1. I think that an alternative solution for this problem is to open up schools for adults who do not know how to read. There are no or very few schools that will teach an adult to read. The only place where you can learn how to read is in kindergarden and the first years of elementary. No adult is going to want to go there to learn how to read; it would be embarrasing for them. But adults would feel better if they go to schools with people of their age who have the same peoblem that they have. Another solution would be to make CD's designed to teach how to read. Kind of like those CD's that help you learn another language. If an adult would like or did not have the time to go to a school to learn, it would be good if they had a system at home that could make them learn how to read.
